276c owners

Just a quick question, apart from the 276c unit, what do i need to use it on a bike. Do i need to buy the automotive kit, and does it come with road mapping when i buy it or do i need to buy city navigator or seomthing.

Also where can i get mounts for a 1200gs?

Hello

The 276c doesn't come with any software when first purchased. You would have to get an automotive kit with either 128mb or 256mb datacard. I know garmin have discontinued city select and stuck with city navigator so you may still find a kit with city select in. What you can do then is upgrade it for free to version 8. You would need to contact garmin for that.

Garmin don't make a specific mount so you you may want to contact ram man to see what ram mounts will fit.

Get a crossbar and mount from Touratech, wire the power/audio cable via a 3amp fuse directly to the battery.

Touratech do 3 different mounts I use the one with the lock on about £75.
