Second bike up for sale, my Yamaha WR 250F
1st reg 12/06/2006, MOT'd 11th November 2025, no advisories part from the fact there's no brake light switch on the front brake, which is how it came from the factory.

Asking £2750 to include a set of super moto wheels, spare plastics, some other spares, can deliver by agreement. Inspection welcome.

History
I've owned this bike for about 10 years, it was bought from another inmate here and it hasn't had a hard life. Fitted with new Trail Tech Endurance 2 dash, odometer showing 510 miles, previous clocks showed 1426 miles. The oldest MOT record I have is 2011, showing 608 miles. All of the time I had this my main dirt bikes were KTM 350 EXC, so this was used sparingly. It's the last of the steel frame bikes. It shows a change of owner in 2022, that's because initially I shared it with my brother and it was registered in his name, but I bought his share out in 2022 - it's always been kept with me, regular oil service after a weekends ride and generally well looked after

It's just been recommissioned and serviced with a carb service, new oil and filter, new air filter by Grant Perrin at GP Performance in Benson, new battery 2 weeks ago, starts on the button and runs really nicely. Good Michelin tyres with new tubes, needs nothing and is ready to get on the trails. Kick start and electric start. Pads and discs all good, likewise chain and sprockets. It's nice to ride with great fuelling, easy to ride on the technical stuff but top end power when you need it.

Body work/Plastics/protection
Fitted with updated plastics to give it a more up to date look. All in good condition. Fitted with Cycra CRM handguards, which are the best available after Highway Dirt Bikes. Carbon sump guard, downpipes heat shield

Ergonomics
Fitted with Pivot Pegz. Symtec 2 stage heated grips fitted under the pillow-top grips, operated by KTM switch gear which also coverskill, horn, lights. Also fitted with Lyndon Poskitt front haul loop, but it's easily removed!

Suspension
Proper suspension, with 48mm Kayaba forks fully adjustable for compression and rebound, Kayaba shock, adjustable.
Suspension professionally revalved by Mike Turner or Road and Race suspension, and set up on the plush side getting firmer to the bottom of the stroke, ideal for trail riding

General
At 105kg excl. fuel, with proper suspension it's going to be far better than most of the modern bikes for trail riding or even TET, where your alternative choice is a 150kg DRZ or Honda CRF with a weedy 25 hp, or an enduro bike.

I also have some Kriega Rackless luggage, brand new, by negotiation if you fancy longer trips - it's the Combo 12, I think. so you'll also need a roll bag or similar - I may have some US dry packs too.

always admired the WRF's .... sadly my bike days are over :(

Bump to the top, now the weather is nicer. For anyone starting out I've some gear that I could do a deal on as well - Klim traverse jacket size L, forcefield body armour, boots Sidi Crossfire size 43, goggles, maybe some Adventure Spec troos, and a shiny and unused Kriega OS base Dirtbike Combo 12. There's also a bike stand and a Kriega US 5 or 10 drypack I'll include

£2450 bike, Kriega US 5/10 and stand.
