2nd wheel set

I'm thinking of getting a second wheel set for my 2010 GSA.

Theres one or two floating about on ebay as I write (like say this one .... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-R-120...15?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3a710f577f ) .. are there any weird and technical things I need to know about what years fit what models? (probably looking to get cast wheels ... )

If swapping from spoked to cast you'll need a set of different length bolts for the rear wheel.

Yes, I have a spare set for my GS, wire ones with TKCs on, and keep Tourances on the Alloys.

The bolts are the obvious things, but you need to think of whether you will put disks on the front, and possibly Tyre Pressure Sensors modules. The disks and Tyre Pressure Sensors do add considerably to the cost but makes the changing over much easier. You do need to get the dealer to configure the Sensors in the spare wheelsto the bike, hopefully at no cost. You can have 2 sets of Sensors recognised by the bike.
