Ah, you mean the Orange machine that has one of those oily/greasy things that makes the back wheel go round..... I think I'll pass on that
funny you should say that , i sold my tiger yesterday fantastic all round bike that goes like stink

When I was asked if I wanted to do a test I told them "yes, but if I think it's shite I will say so"
They replied saying "that is exactly what we want".
So what I have written is what I found..... unfortunately I can't help those who have a problem with that
The good thing is you had the new bike for a decent length of time and miles.A short test ride is all very well but living with and using a bike is the proper way to judge it.Sounds like its time to retire the 1100.

Just make sure you try the 1190 as well Paul.......you might just find that it's a similar leap ahead of the toilet as the toilet is to your 1100

Last month I was fortunate enough to be offered the chance of an ‘extended’ test ride of the new 1200 GS… needless to say I accepted without hesitation.
The new GS is certainly endowed with a host of cutting edge technology that not only enhances performance and handling, but also enhances the ‘whole’ riding experience. There are 5 ‘riding modes’; Dynamic, Road, Rain, Enduro and finally Enduro pro. Selecting each mode not only changes the suspension and ABS, it also remaps the ‘fly by wire’ throttle and the ASC (Automatic Stability Control).
That really is a bullshit phrase..............

I have a 330D and a 10 year old Jeep
The 330D (fully loaded by the original owner with all the electronic trickery) is an amazing car
The Jeep which use to be my #1 car is now the odd job car and I'm now on my 2nd main car - The thing is when the 330D is replaced Ill still have the Jeep and it will see other #1 cars come and go.
My 1150 is like my Jeep, I know it well, it puts up with all kinds of crap, running costs are low and its interesting to ride like the Jeep is to drive.
....where's this leading to?
In my life I need a #1 car that's very good across many aspects ( performance, creature comforts and gadgets like good quality phone integration), I don't need a bike to do the same, if I did I reckon the 1200LC would be brilliant.

Horses for courses chicken. No, the Berg ain't something you'd do 2500 miles on in 3 weeks, but for a buzz......absolute pure gold
I bought Liz an SR125 Aprilia scooter a few years ago to go to work on. I used to "borrow" it to pop into town. Ended up selling it before I lost my license. No 'grin factor' about it. It was pure adrenaline fuelled loonacy everytime it sparked in to life. Firing through traffic within mm of mirrors and car doors, spanking it around the wrong side of traffic islands etc etc. Ridden like it was stolen, I don't think their is more fun to be had on bike. Used to get home with the heart pounding, sling it in the garage and leg it in the house quick lest the police were hot on my heels, the perfect crime!fookin ace
