In my local IAM group fellow tossers all seem to be using garmins and quest, 2610 550 and 660 all seem to be the jargon I hear talked about.

I want an easy to use garmin so I can plan my own rides for local weekend shortish trips plus plan longer UK holidays eg scotland or Wales from london. Plus will do France or spain types of trip just cos I'll be limited to one week max.

Also I can upload and share other tossers routes which will be a big plus cos they put masses of work into planning them!

Probably I can do without pairing the phone or having spoken guidance (unless someone can say thats a must in which case i'd need bluetooth headset advice)

I see handtech prices are good but just dont know which to buy.

any help please?

many thanks:)

660 is the way to go. I can't believe how small the screen on the 550 is when you put them side by side.

BT if you like, but wired works just as well for directions, without the recharge worries on the long journeys.
