5mm or 7mm free play on clutch

some manuals say 5mm free play on R1100GS clutch ,and others say 7mm
so what is it?

go 6mm - you'll be right all the time with tolerance

Just make sure the free play is on the clutch arm on the rear of the box, and not just at the lever.

wasnt sure if it was that critical....set @ 6.8mm

I didn't actually put a rule on it, but eyeballing it, about 5 or 6mm.
