60csx

Ive kept my 60Cs as my "off road" navigator, I do some hill walking. I upgraded to the 2720 as this is primarily for vehicle use. Isn’t the only difference between the 60Cs and the CSX the memory card?

No! the cx has the more sensitve Sirf III chipset.

Sirf III enables the Gps gain and hold is lock better as it is more sensitive....useful under tree cover and urban canyons...probably wont affect the redraw times unless they have upped the processing power .

You are very lucky ,my 60c's lock dies at the first sign of tree lined roads and tracks.

I do have a remote antenna mounted on my bike, sorry, maybe that may have something to do with the good reception signal strengths.
