640 adv,time for some tlc

A few weeks ago,a customer mentioned he wanted to sell his bike,he had owned it from new,12 years ,60k miles.
I think he appreciated that even though the bike has been really well maintained,the time had come for it to have some proper tlc
So a deal was struck

I'd had a short road test prior to buying it and all felt pretty good,the motor is quiet
No smoke,starts on the button

I have always thought that out of all the adv bikes,the 640 is the looker,
When the fella asked me if I was interested in buying it I knew my 525 exc had to go
One pm later and the 525 was sold
But looking on the bright side,I will have swapped my very nice exc for a fully rebuilt 640

Having had chance to ride the beast some more,
I love it,but it's fucking filthy,and my seat of the pants dyno is not feeling 50 plus bhp
My funduro would destroy this in a drag race
Time for some serious TLC

So my cunning plan is to rebuild the motor,do any mods needed or recommended
Blast and powder the frame,anyone know the ral code for ktm orange?
New bearings,throughout,
Service suspension and have it set up propper
See if anything is left from the £1500 budget for hard core bling and a performance enhancing carb and exhaust
The reality being that they are 1st on the shopping list and the budget is already fucked

Had the 525 for a year,love the thing, prob the very best green lane bike for expert riders,amazing machine!

We've made progress,new brake pipe has arrived,been making mounting brackets for switches and fuse box top drawer stuff!,
I'm building a 1200 this week so husky back in on Thursday

I've steam cleaned the thing to death and it's still filthy

No real issues,some of the suspension bearings are knackered,but they were always going to be replaced,
Upper rad mounting bolts snapped off,
Swing arm pivot bolt was a bit seized,
Not too bad,

Frame looks better in the pics than reality.
