Stripped the bike down last night, and good news it is not restricted, but I did notice that the spindle was turning and stopping about a full 2cm before the stopper so fiddled with the cable adjustment and reduced that gap to 1cm, but think the cable is routed the wrong was as I could not adjust it all the way to meet the stopper, going to order a new cable.
