Am new to the list and wonder how many 650GS owners are members... Would like advice as to taller screen for the 650GS. Not sure of the BMW version, quite like the look of the Dakar screen, but wonder what else is available.

Welcome to the club (madhouse), I'm not sure how many members are 650 owners, but a guy worth talking to is Casey Thomas. He's got the 650 Dakar and has done loads of mod's. His website is listed on the members profile page.
My wife rides the 650GS and we switched the standard screen for the dakar one.......big improvement. I'm 6ft 4" and it's even good for me. The bike is being prepared for a trip next year and is being heavily modified including fitting a 39 litre tank. If you've got any questions just let me know and I'll see if i can help.
....fitting the Dakar screen is a good move.

I had one of the 1st 650GS's off the line & got a dakar screen as soon as they became available (only a 4 month wait) & thought it was great (6ft tall - no buffeting).
