660 LIFETIME MAPS

Hi does anyone know if lifetime maps can be carried on to a new as i sold mine with bike and now buying another.

The maps are coded to a single GPS device. Sell the device and the maps / updates go with it.

My maps need updated as I found to my annoyance the last time I tried to drive in Glasgow.

Garmin are offering a lifetime deal for 54 quid just now. I appreciate that this only applies to the device but how does that work? If I buy from garmin online, do they simply update my registered 660 or do will I have to re install my map source software on my newish laptop so that map source is updated and I simply connect my 660 to my laptop to update the maps?

Download Garmin express.

Connect GPS to PC.

It should ask you for unlock code which will come with your lifetime update

Do a search on Google for best price.
