Took me about 12 hours all in, just on the road for 7 , went down with the 1150 @ 5.30 am, nice clear roads steady on the way back

Running in

There is not a gtreat deal of difference between the 4,000 rpm reccomended for running and the leagal UK limit - so if you obeyed the law this trip you will have completed a sizeable chunk of the process.
