So this week is the last of this years MOT and I'm going to give it a little holiday to tidy it up after 2-3 years cosmetic neglect... Yesterday I was out on my freshly reassembled 100RT after getting the heads refreshed... Today out in the rain on the GS! Made me laugh that yesterday's run made me realise how quick, smooth and supple the GS is...😆 Just when you think it's feeling ropey take out the auld een to give you some perspective on things... 👌😀 Happy Oilheading!

Still waiting for my hall sensor
Whilst in bits I’ve gave it a deep clean
My hall sensor is coming from Greece I believe

My last 2x halls sensors for different bikes have been through UK suppliers for speed and comeback in case of problems...

My new to me tractor (light) aka R850GS is meeting my high expectations. I won’t ever reach the mileage of Vern’s Donkey but I’m impressed by my first few miles. My thanks to @Racoon for entrusting me with her GS.

Mines came and fitted
From Greece I think
Put it in the same place as the other one (witness marks)
It fired straight up and been fine for the 90 odd miles I’ve been on it
Do I need to have it timed up?
And where’s the best place for 1200 injector mod supplier
Cheers

You " should" time them in but I've been lazy with my two replacements and adjusted as required... I remember reading years ago it will run whatever, just better in the right place...😆 I've had Tills kits X2 and an M works kit when Tills had to charge big carriage after Brexit... The Mworks kits have better brackets...

Hello guys,
I wanted to jump in and say a huge thank you to @cookie for the recommendation! Yes, I am that guy from Greece who used to make these on eBay. 😊
Just a quick heads-up for everyone following this great tribute thread: I am no longer on eBay because their skyrocketing seller fees made it impossible to keep prices fair for fellow riders. I have moved everything to my own independent store: boxerhallsensors.com.
The build quality is exactly what you know, using high-temperature, moisture-proof wiring so you'll never have to worry about rain again. Plus, being independent allows me to offer a 5-Year No-Questions-Asked Warranty now.
I’ve set up a permanent discount code UKGSER for the community here. You can use it at checkout or just use this automatic link:
👉 boxerhallsensors.com
If you need any help or technical tips while fitting the new one, just drop me a PM.

Ride safe,
Fotios
