Hi all,

I'm just about to set the points after replacement and I'm just wondering what the correct technique is for eyeing up the 's' in the window. By that I mean do you kneel down and aline the grove in the window with the 's', so they are both at eye level or do you stand up and aline the two, or may be somewhere in between ?

Sorry it seems like a simple one but I've been thinking of this for a while. :nenau

Thanks

Setting points on a 100/7 is probably one of the worst jobs on the bike especially if you adjusting the timing on a hot engine. Watch the back of your hand on that hot downpipe ;)

Everything they said plus I have to close the gap to get the backplate to have the range required, never really questioned or solved that one!
