This probably been covered before but just bought an 1991 R80 with a documented 716,000 kms under its belt and still going well. Bought it off the original owner (80 years old). Paint a bit faded, original seat cover-unblemished, original crank and cylinders. Has had one engine, gearbox, driveshaft rebuild to my knowledge.
I'm sure there are higher km bikes out there but the condition of this bike after so many kms reminded me why I have a weakness for BMs.
Why did I buy it? -Trying to get the "build a cafe racer" bug out of my system and this was a cheap option.
Going once at 716,000 kms, going twice, any advance on 716,000?
