800gs sounding rough.

hi chaps. Just been down to the Stella and gave the 800 gs a bit of welly up the mountain and it seems to be sounding a bit rough since. almost as if the exhaust is blowing but it's not. 2010 with 2k miles. currently in a very hot Barcelona and wondered if anyone had any ideas. doesn't seem to be affecting anything but just curious

Sounding rough or running rough? My bike would sometimes idle slightly rough if very warm

I think it's just noise. when I close the throttle off its popping a bit as well. didn't notice that before. could it be just the 34 degree hot weather.

They often pop and bang on the overun. Could just be the fuel. Run the tank empty and fill up with some good stuff. They do run super lean, which I think makes them more susceptible to duff fuel. Every now and again I'll get a tank of fuel where the bike is just not 'right'.
