Hi guys

Recently bought an 890 adventure which I’m liking a lot

However, since having both hips replaced my ability to get my leg over without scuffing rear saddle is a pain and I’m trying to work out how best to avoid the scuffing by letting my footwear slide across the saddle cover.

I don’t carry pillions these days so it’s not a problem to fit some kind of protection eg flexy plastic or similar over the saddle. I don’t want to remove the saddle.

Any hints guys? Thinking of thick, plyable plastic sheet or similar??

Thanks in advance

Jim

PS have same issue with my S1000XR

Cheers Paul. I’ll take a look.

I’ve been told to try the standing on side stand lever technique.
