I've just done my annual service on the LC. Anybody in Surrey got a gadget to reset the service indicator for me? :D

Don't forget most consumer versions of the GS-911 have finite 'lives'. Each different bike uses one of the ten up permanently.

I had mine done by the dealer £18.00 with a safety check with a confirmation sheet showing tyre depth brake pad thickness etc

You can use the GS911 to find faults and clear codes on as many motorcycles as you like, the 10 bike limit (Enthusiast) is for resetting the Service Indicators to the bike.

Having now received what I would term Diabolical service from people who don't give a fcuk about your bike (yes a BMW Motorrad dealer) I have taken to doing most of the servicing myself. Having a bike still in warranty is a downer for sure.

This is the first time in my life I've owned a car/bike with a warranty still current . However - home servicing doesn't stop the warranty as long as BMW parts are used.
