98 R1100GS EXHAUST

hi ive got an r1100gs witth 9000miles on it and im thinking of putting a remus can and midsection on it,anyone done tihis on the 1100 and does it improve the performance,the bike has not got the cat as its onlly 99bikes onwards that have it so ist it worth the 300quid or keep it stock.cheers.

Had a lazer on mine, makes very little difference IMHO. But looks and sounds a lot better. What else can you do with £300,

Got an 1100GS with a Remus twin spout oval Viper can and the intermediate silencer box.
Slightly throatier than stock and ever so slightly better throttle response.

Got another 1100GS with a Remus Revolution oval titanium can and the nearly straight through linking 'S pipe'.
Loud as feck and feels quite savage just off idle compared to the other one.

my 1999 1100 has a remus and sounds grreeat.
the standard pipe will not be refitted anytime soon.
slightly more poke if you push it hard [i dont]
