OK so I know there has been info all over the net and site but a lot is from years back. I got a 95 r1100gs with 114k on the clock and I think the original injectors by the looks of it, just finished putting the john gemi chip in which made a huge difference and now thinking is it worth upgrading the injectors so that i get the most out of the new setup. I see motorworks do a kit they do used and new injectors, is it worth getting used ones or by used do they mean reconditioned? Or any other cost effective options out there. Happy riding guys and gals 👍

Here's my old ride, enjoying it more then a lot of newer bikes I've had....a side for nearly dropping it a few times 🤣

I got some from here a couple of years ago. Take 10 minutes to fit. Fuelling seemed to improve.

These seem reasonable and change the bikes response quite a lot

If @gog is still on here He did this a few years back and organised a batch purchase So likely still has all the info

Cheers lads I saw something about tills but didn't quite know what it was, they seem better value then motorworks if it's more or less the same item, notice those don't seem to come with an adaptor plate like the motorworks ones, it just says the bolt straight in which I thought was odd. I'll look more into it later when I'm not working, assuming it's worth the cost in terms of smoother/better power delivery. 👍

I bought mine from Tills 2 months ago . They take 10 mins to fit . Make a big difference to the bike

I've used both... Tills are new fer cheaper but for a while their post Brexit delivery costs were buggered up... Used Motorworks used set last time and all fine and with a better adaptor plate... Swings n roundabouts but worth doing either way...

Thanks all for the advice and links, think I'm going to pull the trigger on the used injectors with brackets through motorworks, there a good company I've had bits off before want to support British company the "tills" ones seem absolutely fine but the site isn't as clear to order mentions potential import costs but doesn't give a value plus as wrigsby mentioned might be waiting a while where as motorworks I'll have them on the bike by the end of the week, looking forward to it 👍

I didn’t get any import costs with my order from Tills

Good to hear, there was a lot of info on there site so in the end I thought I'm going with motorworks as it just all looked simple £150 with delivery Thursday I thought to hell.with it

Let us know how it goes when fitted would you ? I’m thinking of doing this on my 1150. (y)

i might get a second hand set for my 1150 gsa 2005 to, please keep us informed

rob

Will do Rob, just had them arrive today only ordered late Monday evening, motorworks are very good with dispatching so I will get them on in the next couple days and report back, £152 in total with delivery I didn't think was to bad. 👍

I fitted the Tils 1200 injector kit to my 1150. It starts more easily (just bursts to life more quickly and enthusiastically) and idles more smoothly hot or cold. No noticeable difference at higher revs.

Tils supposedly match their injectors (I.e. make sure each pair flows at the same rate) which may be why idle is smoother.

For what they cost I’d recommend them.

So motorworks injectors were fitted yesterday and I took her for a good blast this morning. What a great low cost upgrade I can't say exactly one thing that was a lot better but it just was a lot better and a huge improvement, more linier, smoother seems to have less vibe when I'm sitting at a higher speed might all be in my head but yeah if I had to sum it up in a few words "feels like a great improvement overall" recommended to all 👍
