Hi all
I`m looking for a bit of info re transferring GPX to the SD card via the 550`s onscreen menu. i.e. is this possible ? Basically I just want to be able to plugin my SD card to the PC without having to plugin the Zumo.
I`m pretty new to this whole GPS thing and have been trying to get my head around waypoints, POI`s etc etc but I`ve tried numerous sites which do GPX route mapping for you to Google maps and so far I think I`ve found a pretty cool one and easy to use at http://triptracker.net or http://triptracker.net/profile/craigm if you want to look at my 1st attempt. It allows you to do a kind of mini blog as well as uploading and plotting your photos, it does a corellation between the date time stamp on your digi photos and the gpx route info and maps where you were at the time the photo was taken on to your route map.
Anyway, I think it`s pretty cool and the easiest one I`ve seen to use to date. Oh and it`s FREE
