Cos it was fooking freezing :yikes

Cos all the real bikers go to Fimber pick-nik area.
Shut now for winter.
Get there at 9.30am and all the nice pies are still warm....
The tea is shite though, so pop up to Seaway's afterwards for a proper brew.

SEAWAYS

Eyup,
I have never been to Seaways where is it? Looks like a nice place especially with the GSes out side. Anyway never mind the tea whats the coffee like?

It's at Fridaythorpe on the A166 York to Brid road. The breakfast is great as is thier coffee.

Cheers Jacal

Will have a look at it as soon as the weather improves a little and I get time.
Cheers Glenn.:thumb

Maybe its because its so bloody expensive for food. personally i dont use it if fimber tea bar is open.

It makes a change to get a breakfast that isn't swimming in fat so don't mind paying the difference of 50p compared to your usual greasy spoon! Mind ya if your after a picknik in the rain then Fimber fits the bill :augie

you forgot your panniers.

All true GSers should have all the kit on when travelling a few miles to the favourite cafe for 'adventure exploring'.

You never know who you might meet to show how you're ready to cross wilderness's to the next cafe or meet up or tea hut. :comfort

Seaways is ace!

We always stop at Seaways for a buttie and tea on way from Lincoln up to N.Yorks, it is spot on and the roads up from Beverley are fast and flowing. Great place! :thumb

So true:clap:clap

I only use the panny's if I'm going to the cafe under the bridge at Cochem or a couple in Spain and Morocco that I know, otherwise I'm reluctant to carry them full of fresh air.

Having chatted to quite a few GSers whilst out, but I have yet to meet this true TOSSER.......:augie

Hopefully NEVER!! :pullface

Also..... that strap on your avatar is using on you, looks to be working a treat. I trust you are bent over holding onto your panniers!! :clap
