Set off from Sandra's house in Crewe this morning and went for a jaunt into Wales. Crewe - Wexham - Llangollen - Bala - Barmouth - Betwys-y-Coed and back home, made a pleasant change from a Boxing Day festering in front of the TV but it was rather chilly.

Agitating a heat pad - no heated grips on the back :D

Bloody foreigners, come over here with dirty headlights then look the wrong way when crossing the road  ;)

Betwys e Coed looks busy. Looked a good run out :thumb

Was going to go myself but my Kawasaki was cowering in the corner due to the salt :D

Should have gone for it. Roads were nice and clear if a bit slippery.

Looks like a good run out Dave. I think I have seen on here where someone had a set of Oxford heated grips on the rear rack of a 1200 for the pillion. May be worth it to keep the lovely Sandra happy. :)

All the best to you both for the New Year mate. See you in Donegal. :thumb

Hi Aidan,

I'd seen that too. I showed Sandra the thread who wasn't keen due to her extreme dislike of the 1200's grab rail ergonomics so she uses her heat pads :)

Cheers

Good on ya for gettin' out there Dave :thumb Lots of practice in 'Donegal' type weather :D The bike should be well used to it by March :bounce1
