Wife has another marathon in the exotic location of Liverpool thst weekend so I can't I'm afraid.
Not sure what you are suggesting Pete! I thought we were talking about a pint or two in some location of an evening where we could get transport home. The implications of your statement is for a get together on the weekend dates you have suggested, or, getting together in Portsoy that weekend. Can you help clarify, please? As for that weekend, I cannot make the Sunday, for some reason
I'm suggesting just that Charles. Viz... A get together over that weekend for those interested. I'm not suggesting that all who come stay the whole weekend. I will combine it with a visit to a pal who stays nearby and a descent on Khulu's gaff for a blether and a cuppa. All very loose and flexible. The beauty of Portsoy is the campsite and the Sail Loft hostel which is excellent. A couple of pubs and places to eat also.
The option for a day trip is still on the table of course.

I'm dog-sitting two all weekend and working the next week so I'll not make that weekend, unfortunately.
Not 100% sure of my plans yet, Iain but will probably be up by on Thursday - Sunday , so will pop over at some point for a chinwag. I'll PM you nearer the day.
Hoping I'm not an unwelcome gatecrasher, but I stay near Oldmeldrum and (depending upon other factors) would up for saying hello to those behind the the avatars!
I think an idea is to go for the late afternoon in Inverness for beer/coffee/food before the last train back south. Next week is out for me but I'll suggest a date maybe the following week, 9th perhaps or a week later
