One of the lads has asked us to produce an ‘under the footpeg’ mounting place for his camera combined in our recent peg inserts.

Stressing that it’s something that I might personally not do with a camera I’m always very keen to support (any) ideas from any of the lads (as long as it doesn’t include pain and object insertion) so here’s what we made for him - just for interest!

Hope ya happy with it geeza - it’s as you requested :)

Could be interesting until you get your pegs down on a sharp bend. Take the nuttiness out of it, I would have thought the view from that angle would be quite strange, certainly give an impression of speed

I did similar previously but in front of the peg on the 10R.
Meant a great shot of knee down, gear changes, bikes behind, etc or flipped front and of the front end working.
Footpeg? would last the first few corners then it'd be gone.

Yup it would make for good footage and yup I respect what anyone else’s wishes (especially when it’s someone off the forum) but not for me - I’d lose too many cameras!

Exactly - thats a good example of a bad idea!
Front crash bar for the road or indeed the rear of the pot would give good views but under the peg is just daft.

Sorry Mark, but that’s a really daft idea. Go round a bend at any sort of lean angle, and CRUNCH!

Maybe you could make an "adjustable lockable bracket" so the camera operator could slide the camera outward a few inches from the foot peg?
