Kickboxing 3 times a week!!
Wow! That is impressive!
I found that skipping rope is a really good exercise to train for the long standing hours on the bike.
It is also a good core-cardio "crash training" if you do it for 20-30 minutes with different paterns.
You are so lucky to be surrounded by quality people like that. It is not over, wait until you get there. Everybody is so nice.

I'm sure I'll be fine. . . I'm reasonably fit, but not as fit as I have been in years gone by when I used to do Kickboxing 3 times a week!!
