A favour pleeeeze

Do you think one of you awfully nice helpful chaps,could have a measure of the swingarm of your motor bicycle for me pleeeeeze.I would like to know the distance from the swingarm pivot on the back of the gearbox,to the centre of the bevel box gear.

Mines getting a new speedo unit so I can't measure mine... but I'm pretty sure the swing arm is 100mm longer than a 12 swing arm.... You want me to measure the swing arm on my 12?

I thought it was a bit longer than the stock 1200?

Maybe I'm just getting confused somewhere along the line.I'd prefer the HP2 size,just to be sure

You mean more than 100mm longer?

Approx 570mm.

570mm is the measurement.
Just to be safe, you do realise that the R1200's swinging arm does not pivot from the gearbox casing unlike previous practice with the R1100/1150's?
