Stayed at the Moffat Arms last night after paying a visit to Mikeyboy Motors 
Made the booking last minute without looking at their web page..restaurant and bar closed for the winter..Fuk !
There's an ' honesty ' bar ( fridge ) in the map room, and there's still breakfast, but no meals or pints...so the place was empty, and no pretty waitresses
Still, a pint across the road then back to the lounge with fish / chips and a bottle of fine red..I'm just so cultured

Beer in The Black Bull was good, but it was also quite empty.
I might have got lucky with the chip shop as I had to wait until they cooked everything fresh, so what I saved on an evening meal bought me a cracking breakfast..life is good
Sadly plans changed...there is now a room available at the Famous Star Hotel, over the road....Booked in over the road from you boys...see you at 5 on Fri..

A bit late to the party but my son-in-law Hayden (PapaHayd on here) and I have booked an Air B&B in Moffat, Thursday 24th-Monday 28th.
I'll probably be on my RE Himalayan which needs a decent ride-out, if not it's "old faithful" my 1150GS, Hayden on his new-to-him 1150 GSA I expect (although he might slum it on his 1250GSA!!)
It'll be H's first GSer event too
