I enjoyed a wee shake down as today may have been the sunniest day of the week. I didn't need to switch on the hot vest.

A favourite stretch of lochside road that, nice surface condition, some decent twisty bits....much better than the Killin to Kenmore stretch along loch tay

An unexpected chance for another quickie this morning. My older lad managed a pass out and was heading for Glencoe while an afternoon commitment didn’t give me time so I U-turned at Lix Toll (pumps all closed).

Have enjoyed 200+ miles already this week with same again in my plan.

Weather turned out really nice after a hot vest start. Fingers crossed for next few days.

Panniers are packed so I just need to fill up, check the tyres, and set off in the morning. I’ll probably find a nice winding route that avoids the M6 slog… See you there
