Tarka Senior was what the Swedes call a Burkslave.
Burk = can, like canned food.
Slave = you know...

Trust = to go out for a ride as a Burkslave on snow.
Tarka and Tarka Senior = my Heroes! :thumb2

Any more details on that alternator conversion?
I have ordered a nippon denso one from germany to replace the "hand grenade" one on my 02 outfit but this might come in handy for the future.
We will need a new section if all this interest in urals keeps up!

The Mitsubishi/Ural hybrid is on the Top Secret list at the moment but we`re looking at getting a job lot of the adaptor stub shafts made.
Then we can modify the front half of people`s defunct 'hand grenade' casings and maybe do an exchange type service for a nominal fee.
It should work out at less than half the cost of a NipponDenso one...which is actually a conversion jobbie itself.

VERR nice :thumb2

super pics :clap

PS it looked a bit dark on those lanes - I trust you had your hi viz gear on?:hide

Heading out to Radley this morning, no-one about except me. The village was empty, roads covered in snow and everyone tucked up in bed still.

The only other thing I saw on the road was a bloke on a Ural combo going the other way. Grinning like a bloody idiot he was!

Horseshoe

Really enjoyed that, well done for getting out and about in the ice and cold:eek:

Great story and abosutely gorgous bike! :drool My dad and I would love to own a Zundapp KS750 combo one day! I would imagine seeing as we aren't miinted we shall end up with a Ural combo! Can't wait, looks good fun! :)

Safe riding!
