Hello Kropotkin,You might be right saw lots of Griffon vultures on the way to Potes ,this bird flew right over are heads it was huge looked far bigger than the Griffon vultures watched it for 20 mins.I think someone mentioned it could have been a" bald headed eagle"might be wrong though.You'll have a fanastic time the roads are excellent and there's lots of tracks to explore wish i was going backKropotkin said:Wow, fantastic photos! Found this hiden on the side of the road

This bridge you saw, is dated back to roman times, and its an absolute hoot to cross over and head up into the hills. We went up this back in April and is a right laugh.
You'll also see it in the 2007 TT catalogue
Some really cool roads up there. Thuir/Thor is a cracking place, some fantastic eating to be had.
