Chopped in the lovely BMW's for the 1290 SAS - sad to see them go but the new bike's sooooo good!

Cheers Nutty - I find a million reasons why it's essential to keep ALL my bikes but on this occasion I've allowed them to go - not an easy decision!

But the KTM has the fun factor of the sportsbike (and on the road as much useable performance) with the practicality of the GS - best of both worlds....

...If I added another bike to the stable it would have to be something completely different like a light single cylinder trail bike, or an 80s / 90s classic sportsbike.

Exactly right....I'm delighted with my (new to me) SA 1290 & have no doubt it'll make the grin on my face just a little bit bigger :D
