Don't think I don't know it - I'm so grateful for getting the chance the live and work here I can't tell you. Some of the best roads in the world are just an hour from here, and they run for hundred of miles. To get from LA to Laguna Seca is a 350 mile drive. Once you clear the confines of LA 70 miles to the north you are in stunning open land that gives you an incredible 280 mile cross country sprint that is interrupted by just two small towns!

OK, I've posted pix of the damage, in part because I was so flabbergasted at the cost of an MM falling over!

Sadly this also means my bike is out of commission for quite some time while we await the parts, so it may be a while before I get to share anymore west coast snaps with you guys.

Bad luck there fella. That’s it so much damage for such a low speed off.
It appears that the HP2 doesn’t crash well.

Carbon fibre is a real cool material, but it doesn’t crash well. I damaged the belly pan cowl on my HP2 Sport a while back. BMW wanted to relieve me of £1,400 for a new cowl. However, I managed to get it repaired by a CF specialist for £150

Yonkyo, it would be handy to know what is keeping you blocked out, so I can change it. I'd asked my web expert just to use a simple anti bot question (q. how many kinds of HP2 are there? a. 3).

The guy who set up the site for me is actually based in London, and also runs the UK Monster board!
