A new KLR not available in the UK?

I used to have a dakar many moons ago but i have decided that i would plump for a new KLR as i have always wanted to own one. Imagine my horror when they do not sell them in the UK. I am all for saving the planet but how is it some of these other big singles get through the net?

Perhaps the uk is such a small market that changing the bike to meet the emissions standards here is not worth doing.

Just buy a Kove 450 Rally, or an AJP PR7.. or alternatively Motorrad Konnection have an imported DR650 which is a bit punchy price wise but pretty unique.
