That's because when you buy a KTM, you expect it to break down
Having had 2 GSA's prior to the 1190A, I am somewhat familiar with the need to use BMW recovery services to get home. Not so with the KTM in 12k miles in under a year, but who knows what the future holds.
May even get the 2014 RT back from BMW one day and be able to ride that before the tax disc expires...

Ive had lots of BMW's and KTMs not had any real issues with either only issues ive had is with BMW dealers trying to tear me a new one that's why I got out of them, went to Honda For a Crosstourer Triumph for a Explorer and KTM for the now 1190 Adventure R, and am really liking it
