Any other owners had this? Not naive enough to think there are "just a few". This is from Ocean Motorrad. I see Chester are offering an "additional" £750 on trade in. Wondering if anyone has something similar and investigated further
Im going in this week so will quiz the sales guysWhatsApp Image 2024-11-04 at 12.44.48_1c452fa3.jpg

All it means is they’re struggling to sell bikes. No need for extra incentives if they are meeting targets.
My local dealer ( Marshall’s) did a similar thing recently, then extended it as they aren’t selling well.

We got one of those as well.

Re above ^^^^^^^^

I was waiting for my wife's car at a Mazda dealership. The same dealership has a Lexus francise, so I went in to browse. I asked the receptionist about one of the cars and she said she would ask a salesman to pop over.

A minute later a plummy suited 30 yr old arrived and asked if I had an appointment. I said no, he then asked if I was sure I didn’t have an appointment with” Him” ! No I replied, to this he just stormed off!

If I was genuinely interested in buying a car , that would have been a major turnoff!

Well i didn't get one, mind you the suppliying dealership of my approved used model didnt like the fact i criticised the bike for having a square back tyre which was noted on the ride home..

😁

Complete different experience. After a short chit chat the salesperson invited me to have the demo over the w/e with a full tank of petrol. Decided to buy the car. That was my first Lexus and the rest is history. My local has the best customer service. Drop a email to the principal with your experience. If people do not complain how can they improve the service?

Yes Cowboys usually wear hats and a theif wears s balaclava
No wonder the manager Dean left
Did he leave, or was he sacked ?
Apparently they haven’t been doing very well recently. So he could have been ‘let go’
IE made the sacrificial scape goat.

Pleased your experience was more positive than mine, better outcome for the dealership too.

They don’t like reducing prices as it cheapens the brand but are happy to give an extra £1000 for your trade-in or make a deposit contribution, free luggage etc.

It’s aftersales they fail anyone can make a promise
And have a selective memory but I cannot abide liars
Nor 5 recalls in 5 months undeveloped products
Unsupported goods no Aftersales just lies
Another profit driven multi franchise shame on you bmw
Stick with family run independent dealers
