With the multitude of posts on the subject of FD bearing failure, i hate to have to throw this one in ...
I have only 2167 mls on my 09 GS and whilst checking the bike over, i thought i would check the bearing lift......
Oh shite comes to mind i have over 3mm lift...
and as the workshop manual give a maximum lift of 1mm... looks like it's of the the workshop for what i think is the lowest mileage failure of the main bearing ......unless of course you now different???
