A ride to Terry’s Cafe.

I trust you had a hedgehog in your pocket, in case of emergency and a flask of brew.

Yes, of course, a brew, I knew I’d missed a key word from the UKGSer vocabulary, damn it.
This could mean having to plan another ride to exotic destinations.

Best(and biggest) scallops I've ever had was in the Auberge du val In Guernsey - none have come close since.

Bubble and squeak is supper food and has no place with bacon and egg in the morning.. It's in the Magna Carta

Rubbish. Those silly French ways went out of fashion when the Welsh took the throne in 1485.

Just be grateful you aren't required to consume lava bread.

Bollox Wessie. Bacon, eggs and lava bread imported from the Costa del Mumbles was invented in Ebbw Vale in the 7th century. Love lava bread me....and it's not green is it....not really 👍

it closes at 8am

That’s true.

I have always intended to go, not least as it’s not far away. I’ll stir my stumps, before the market is gone forever… 35 minutes door-to-door by DLR or, near enough the same via the D3 bus.

An exquisite travelogue, thank you.

I have noticed that scallops are the same diameter as my preferred black pudding here, so I feel a bit of experimentation coming on....Mushy peas with a breakfast? Has to be done.

It would be easier for me to get there after the club closes, but wandering around a fish market looking for the cafe with a few girls dressed up for a night out might not be such a good idea :D

Gawd blimey, guvnor…

There was a great TV programme on a family who ran a counter at Billingsgate by night, but before their counter opened they ran greyhounds at Romford.
