A Ring and a Dingle

My wife and I done this area in 1996 in our old MG, like yourself just staying in B&B`s when we fancied stopping for the night. It was MUCH cheaper in pre euro days! Our highlights were a brilliant B&B with a wonderful seafood restaurant on the Bay at Goleen and many nights in small pubs getting drunk listening to locals having jam sessions. This may be too much information, but I am 90% sure the pub where you stayed in Dingle is the same one we stayed in and most likely where our son was conceived! We called him Connor as we thought it would be appropriate to have an Irish name. It was not until reading your report that I realised that Connors Pass is nearby...Spooky!

That 80KPH sign means minimum speed limit by the way.
You we're dead right not to take any guff from that horse and buggy guy. You pay road tax to use the roads, he's making money from them. Point to your tax disc and drive off. road closed my arse.

great write up, well done.

excellent - really fancy doing a trip like that myself - rip off euro prices are putting me off - still everything has a price and i reckon the scenery alone may justify a visit :thumb
