I first used them over 11 years ago when I had my R1200GS. I've always had great service from them.
I have had a right saga with the an Avant engine protector plate on my R1200RS whereby I broke the 1st one trying to manoeuvre the light bar back in place. Norman and the Manufacturer agreed to replace it and they created instructions for how to re-fit the light bar without stressing the quite brittle plastic. The RS front guard is very short and too flexible to mount a Fenda Extenda onto
MachineArt Moto in the States made a plate that covers the front of the engine instead. It prevents road spray and debris stripping the finish off the engine. A high quality product.
My postie delivered the new one on Monday while we was away for a few days in Scotland (Isle of Galloway which was lovely) and he left it outside with the re-cycling bins and slipped a card through the door. The card went unnoticed by our lad and the rubbish plus Avant got re-cycled
NN has agreed to send me another, a 3rd!. I really appreciate this. They will make a claim on the Post Office.
So I thought I'd give them a well done.
Really enjoyed the Borders. Port Patrick, Wigtown, Glentool, Galloway forest etc. Some great biking roads although we were in the car.
