Objective: South East UKGSER Pub Meet-up.
It all starts with a bit of a mission. A decision was made very quickly to take an overground train from Bushey Station rather than Watford Junction. Leapfrogging the 16:30 train by some 5 minutes.
I get my wifey to drive me to the station,

but we hit traffic, meaning I abandon the car at the red traffic light and sprint to the station, ignoring all traffic/pedestrian rules.
I make the train with just what seem like 20 seconds to spare as I hear it approaching the platform above my head whilst I touch in on Oyster pad to validate my fare.
That’s a first, taking a photo whilst leaping in ti the carriage as the door closing beeper is sounding

I use my time aboard the train to type out a threat on travel advice, within the UK. Before I know it, Willesden Junction is in sight and it is time to make my change.
The next train is in 6 minutes

So I make a start on this trip report.
The train does arrive on time, and it isn’t to busy, everyone seem to find their seat.

We just approaching Gunnersbury station…followed by… erm Kew Gardens (natch)…and…

A short hop along from the station…

… and we have arrived

I meet Paul and Joe at the bar waiting patiently for the others to turn up.
We grab a pint and have a sit down.

Next out the blue this bloke turns-up unannounced and completely out the blue.

…Then the last piece of the puzzle has rocked up…

…Great deal of conversation does make rounds along with equal amounts of pints…
Food. Burgers all round, with exception of a veggie option for me.
Now I’ve never see a burger being consumed with an assistance of a knife and fork…

There is always a first for everything in life, it is what makes us different.
Return journey for me is in reverse. It is just gone 21:30 and we disperse in different directions, heading our own ways. I’ve summoned my wife to pick me up in one hour.
Thank you chaps for coming over and thank you Paul for organising it all. It was a great turnout yet again.
Till next time boys, been great to catch up again.
