So, if anybody else is interested, I was planning to be there about 12:30 - 13:00, or if a.body has another suggestion then let's have it.

Cheers............Grizzly :beerjug:

Seems like every time we have had a bit of nice weather this year I've had to go to work. Tomorrow I'll be grafting from noon till midnight. Might manage a wee run on Sunday.

Frost and Ice ...............

here this morning. No goin tae Glen Lyon guys.
Will wait and see weather later an maybe go for a we jaunt then.

Bike's never seen salt!!!

Take care if oot gents and have a good one.

I wussed it.

Went to the garage to get bikie woken up and we got hit wi' a hoorin' shower.

Thought "Bollocks tae that" and had a cup o' tea instead.

(The other reason is that I'd be driving the same road I commute to work on and I'm sick o' that...)

Great Day Oot

Just back - thought I'd get in before the sun sets - it's a bit early these days.
As Arc has said there was quite a bit of frost & ice this morning - but only on the car and grass I think:eek. Anyway nae salt on the roads (yet:(). The run up was good, but freezing fog between Dunkeld & Fortingall. The sun was oot though in Glen Lyon and as usual the scenery was great, the soup was souperb and the company was top-notch:thumb.
Better run home - over Ben Lawers, along Loch Tay to Kenmore then over Glen Quaich and the Sma' Glen to Gilmerton then back home through Perth & Dundee - sunshine all the way, but you could see the freezing fog in the distance lying down towards Aberfeldy.
Well better go and blast the gutters off the bike - maybe see you guys another day - if it's nice:rolleyes::D

Cheers ...........Grizzly:beerjug:

plenty salt doon noo!

Went out tonight (in the tin box:augie) and their chucking the salt doon.
Like Arc, I was half expecting salt on some of the roads today up to Glen Lyon - but thankfully none:thumb2
The soup was exceptionally good today though.:clap

Only had this morning free and when I saw the weather forecast I headed out for a run up to the Loup of Fintry waterfall. It was misty on the way up and on my trek to the waterfall, but not long after that the mist disappeared.

Nice run back down to Lennoxtown and spotted a GS Adventure heading up Crow Road towards Fintry. Missed been able to pop into BMW Motorrad Central anymore for a hot chocolate and catch up, so it was back home to pick Skye up from her Pals. The mist had settled in around Strathclyde Park and stayed well into this evening, which spoiled the fireworks a bit.

I think Scotland looks great in Autumn and glad I managed to get some shots on a sunny day.

Crackin photos Ian.

I left work just after midnight. The freezin fog had set in along the new stretch of the M80. I was using the solid White line on the edge of lane to keep on the road and when I looked across I couldn't see the broken White line separating the lanes. It was like a fairground ride without the safety bars

Thanks for photo comment

Don't envy you driving on M80 in freezing fog, I had to make a short journey in Bellshill last night about 10:30 and at one point I couldn't even see the kerb or parked cars. Very slow drive home
