If you put a cable tie round the top of the rubber sleeve on you clutch hose, it might stop water collecting at the bottom end ( which is a tight fit round the banjo pipe) and corroding the pipe. The exposed end of the rubber sleeve on mine was just under the steering head facing forward into the rain. 1150gs

i did that after steptoe's warning last year. i also cut away the bottom end of the sleeve so any water in there already did not collect around the metal fitting.
