Paul & Maeve are on their way home from a 9 month spin from Alaska to Tiera del Fuego on two 1200's and will arrive into Ireland on Sunday morning (20/01/08).

You can read about their journey here.

Paul will be heading for Dublin and Maeve on up to Donegal, but on their way from Rosslare they will be stopping at the hotel in Glenmalure for breakfast at 10am or so.

All are welcome to drop in to join them for the brekkie and the craic. They will be glad to see you.

Unfortunately, other plans for Sunday mean that I will miss out but I'm sure that some of you may want to run down.

Hmmmm....:bounce1

It'd be good to see them alright. And it's been AGES since I was up in Glenmalure (well, Wednesday actually but it feels longer ;))

The last time Paul paid for brekkie it was JDs money & half the biking population of Ireland turned up :D Doubt he'll make the same mistake with his own money. "Maeve, where's your credit card ?" :augie

(shuffles off to attempt rearranging calendar ;))

great

will be there , do anything sooner than make my own breakfast :aidan
can,t wait to tell them about my trip from hollywood to glenmalure

And I'm sure they'll be well inpressed ;) If there's anything ya need - sleeping bag, tent, auxilliary fuel tank, etc don't be afraid to shout. Did ya get yer travel insurance sorted & the bike serviced ? And tyres, are ya doin' the whole trip on Tourances or will ya use TKCs for the first part ?

I dont think that I'm on the welcome list . The last contact I had from Paul was by email on the 30/08/07. This was after I pointed him to a link on www.irishbikerforum.com in which he was the subject of some discussion. He did not appreciate my post to him on his site and got testy with me. I pointed out to him that I was just the messenger and that he should not "shoot the messenger". I also pointed out to him that as a salesman myself I was aware how small the "community" was in Ireland and as such I was giving him the "heads up" to correct anything that needed to be corrected. He (or his webmaster) banned me from viewing their site as a punishment for trying to help him :nenau. I had been an advocate of him for some time and had sent several new customers his way.
