Well... It was a short one. Someone had got up in a Merlin Helicopter and was criss-crossing the A1 (between Berwick and Newcastle) nice and low. Came alongside at one point too, very nice.
The weirdest thing was the lack of any noise even that close up.
Never seen a Merlin before so I dunno how noise they make without the wind roar at 65mph to complete against.
