[THE ROVER]

Hi, I was up near Hexham yesterday buying a car and the sat nav decided to take me home on the above road. Not sure it was the best way but I'm glad it did

Even in the car it was one of the best roads in the UK I have been on. Cracking scenery as well.

A proper adventure bike stretch of tarmac.

Picking the car up on Tuesday so I think I'll have another go at it.

One of my favorite roads really busy with bikes at the weekend the Cafes a bikers meeting point.
Watch out for the Cops there's usually a few lurking

Yes, its good, right over Hartside pass, to Penrith, but its also good, if you take the A689 at Alston then onto the B6277 to Bishop Auckland
