After a day spent trawling the nether regions of the Beakchat section and even venturing into the section of kilts and haggis, where people call each other rude names and discuss matters relating to elections, it's nice to get back to the Airhead section.

It's like walking into a gentlemen's club - no, not the sort where ladies are paid by tucking notes into undergarments - but the sort with wingback leather chairs, plenty of newspapers to read, the gentle tink of cup on saucer, maybe a G&T later, thank you.

The issues of the day are discussed, panniers, tyres, that sort of thing. Where the value of certificates are debated. Spokes for goalposts.

Did you see....? Yes, rather good wasn't it....! Well, I never..... not in my day....

Pass the sugar. Thank you.

( sigh )

Pass the port old chum.:)
I've just had a little tinker with my airhead, just checking levels, especially the battery being as it's now coupled to the optimate fulltime :rob

pass the scones proff.

taken off my white headlight cover and screen.
put the black one on again.cant decide if it looks better.

ooh tophole chaps,
..... and what leather should i use for repairing the elbows of my tweed jacket:confused:

Suns past the yard arm, vodka and diet please.

Spent a couple of arms this afternoon with the 100 PD, took her for a run in preparation for the run to deliver her to her new owner at the weekend.

Finished off with a quick bimble on the 80 PD as a back to back comparison.

Very civilised in here so it is.

Maybe we should arrange an airhead weekend or would that be seen as a bit cliquish :augie :D

Anyone for toasted crumpets?

It has been mentioned before. I'm up for it. :thumb2

I haven't been to visit the old girl today :(, spent some quality time with her on Monday though, doing some tinkering. :thumb2

Proff, do you know the bishop of Norwich? :augie

:thumb2I'm up for an Airhead weekend down here.
we could have the use of my mates barn, I have 2 lifts and Monk, Trippy, Cookieboy and Sid amongst others are nearby.
I could accomodate around 10 tents in me back yard.
Lucky 5 could have our wobblybox....

No objection to other wobblyboxes either as I have use of field where the barn is.
Lets see if we can do it this time :thumb2

PLUS I can arrange a visit and tasting session at Cider factory on the Sunday morning :beerjug:

Ask Shready, it's a must see :D

Hmmmmmm, I wonder if I might be allowed to come.........if only I knew someone with an Airhead I could borrow :augie

:bounce1 sounds like a plan for the clique airheads.
is it just for the g/s owners:augie thanks for the invite Proff,:thumb

I reckon any airhead, from a 60/2 to a R100rs. Monos or twin shocks [101 especially]

PARALEVER MODELS will be required to be hidden when not being worked upon.
And the PISS will be taken out of the owners of such beasts !!!

Well I'm at a loose end weekend of 27 / 28 December but I guess thats no good for most.

Could easily find a location with lots of bunks, camping and a warm bar.

The Gentlemens Airhead weekend :)

Oh, yes! Defo up for an airhead weekend :rob Cheers for the offer Proff!

June would be good.

Should we have a dress code?

Pip pip

Gentlemen, I think this is a 'go-er'

I'll certainly grace the occasion with my presence ( usual fee Proff:augie )...and lets keep it to airheads 100% only..none of those Jap crap off roaders ( which I'm playing on tomorrow:D ) or smelly oilheads :robetc etc:D

Sounds bloody good to me :bounce1
