Aaaaaaahhh, that's better...we smell of wee

if I'm free:ymca on the date ,sounds like fun,
We need a good line up for the ukg/ser front page photo.;)

I'm free the first weekend in June.
Kieth what about Betty Cottles or even Princetown then we have camping, bunks, food and a bar all in the same place and still close enough to play on the ring road and go to the Cider place.

Is it open to all? I haven't been to the UK for a while now (10 days in three years) I'm not sure they'll let me in anymore.

Very fine idea

I would be up for this, a nice bimble down to the West Country from the Peak District on my R80s/t, it's a mono dontcha know, to enjoy a weekend in the company of fine fellows and decent chaps. Partake of a flagon or two of cider (local's advice always welcome on this delicate matter) before bimbling back North, maybe visiting the land of Dragons on the way.

Nick

Looks like it's on.

Just mentioned this to Barbara:eek:

THEN she says OK :thumb2 it could be done.
1st weekend in June..seems good to most of you.

1st. We need an idea of numbers, to see who wants to camp or if I can find reaonable B+B's in the village if our garden is full of tents and wobblybox and house is filled with the non campers.
2nd. We have a very good pub in the village 150 yds from my front door, and a reasonable stagger back.
Friday through to Monday morning looks OK, with bike stuff on the Sat, rideout [not too long, probally the ring road and cider factory] on the Sunday, after church if any god botherers are present :augie
Trying to talk to Rob on the blower about his attendance as chief Guru.
not succesfully at the moment :( him no answer magic trumpet fingy :mmmm
I also know that the Messiah :steptoe rides airheads [ St eptoe ]
Plus we have a good share of spanner twirlers in this section who would all be welcome.:thumb2
I'd like all to pitch in with ideas and modifications so as it does not become a 1 horse show [unless 101 is there and it obviously will be:bow:bow:bow]
Any airhead without a chain or belt connecting g/box to back wheel would be elligible.
Even 3 wheelers [TARKS !!! you reading this ??]

Lets see if we can't make this the biggest collection of rattly old iron/ally in the sites history.

If our esteemed mod want's to make a fresh thread for this, please go ahead:thumb

Sounds like a great idea.

Please pencil me in.

I'd prefer some accommodation, but if all else fails I could take a tent.

I haven't been that far south on the Airhead - I have done the Bristol Classic Bike Show and Netley Marsh - and back - in a day on the 1150 GSA (and K1200GT) though

I'm sure the bike will be fine . . can't say the same for the posterior though :blast

TTFN.

Bob.

I'm in! :thumb2

Camping fine by me, but happy to pay for B&B if camping space is limited and village walking distance.

:beerjug:

edit: title? "Airheads 09 - The rally for the discerning gentleman"

i know you started this thread off as the gentlemens club thing.

Don't worry proff

Camille will be present as will the useless fat twat who owns her:D Have you any muddy bits down there as it wouldn't be right to take here home clean.

As for the name of this fine devonshire event "PLOD To PROFFS" or "proffs DAYS OF CHUNDER cider and airhead fan rally" "Geriatric & Seniors rally" that should cover the G/S bit or "The REAL G/Sers Rally" on the back of charlie aned ewan we could call it "long way down, is DEVON"

Can't believe the boss said yes but hey who can tell how a ladies mind works.
