I don't like to jump to conclusions but this seems like a case of wanton airhead cruelty  Imho it would teach the scoundrel who has abandoned this bike a lesson if the bike was removed and only returned for a sizable ransom of say 300 euros. The ransom money could then be paid into a good cause like Help for Heroes, unless the riff raff owner refused to pay, then the bike could be liberated back to the UK and given a deserving home: I am happy to adopt it :beerjug:

Rescue

Are we going to Italy to rescue it?:rob

Another Caff Racer coming along!:thumb

i left my 1976 Mercury cougar at Newark Airport in 1985 that I bought in California.
I still have the plates.

..wonder if its still there ? :augie :D

I'm happy to help with any proposed Airhead kidnapping/rescue.

I have a Home for Retired RT Airheads here in Devon and I'm sure I've got sufficient room to add yet another one. The others are nearing completion and I need another one to work on soon.

Have bike trailer, diesel skoda and will travel. I hear Italy in the Spring is lovely?

I'm serious, when do we leave?

Why dont one of the UK plod on the site contact the address of the registered keeper ?

Yes please...that would save a lot of time, I'd be grateful for any PMs in this respect.

I just started my shift this morning, the car park guys did as I asked during the night and chopped that chain open, so I'll wheel it behind the terminal later and park it somewhere private.

With apologies to the Posse....unless the owner turns up the bike will go to a local training school for young mechanics. ( and what the hell : Oi..! I saw it first..:rob)
I love to think that in some way I helped kids to get a proper education and not waste time faffing around with higher education like I did.

But if the owner flies in and goes to pick up his bike then he'll think it's been stolen, which it has in the eyes of the law of course.
Will he realise it has been moved ?
Will he be able to find it ?

You enter a contract when you park in an airport carpark.... they have right to remove.... Wouldn't be there for this long in any of the London airports...

If

I left my taxed and insured bike lying around albeit a risky thing but chained up in a secure Airport.
Would be chuffed to fcuk if some thieving scrote (s) liberated it:blast

Sounds like the best possible use for it IMHO :thumb2
