Abandoned airhead in Italy , anyone's ?

Not sure why my opinion was seen as shit stirring and why it is acceptable for people to call me a prick, a cnut and various other names, but my use of the words t*** and f*** get censored out.

I don't understand how you can be so thick skinned Trippy. You jumped into this thread accussing people of stealing the bike whilst quoting all sorts of (UK) legal rubbish as if you are some kind of expert.

Wrong on both, but hey don't let the truth get in the way of any of the shite you post you :censor:

After all you haven't in the past have you ... you :censor:

* as all these words have already used & directed at me on this thread I assume they are acceptable :thumb2

The authorities know the owners identity, but because they're terrified of the Data Protection Act nobody will look it up and ring him. Personally I would like to see someone in authority take the initiative and pick up a phone. Feck me, nobody is suggesting that they disclose the owners details to a 3rd party. Hell, it's a simple 2 minute job.

Yep, a two minute job that could put your career in jeopardy.

Doing the check is risky enough without good cause (and before you ask, no, this wouldn't be seen as good cause), but contacting the owner could be like sticking your hand into a hornet's nest.

"So, why do you want to know?"

"It's none of your business - what's your boss's name and number?"

Piece of cake for the authorities to find out who did a recent owner check on the vehicle. Direct breach - no excuse.

Would you risk your livelihood over something like this?

Mike

I wasn't suggesting they did it "on the sly" but with their bosses approval. That's why I said "in authority".

And if the owner said "It's none of your business" I think I'd say "I'm doing you a favour, because there was talk of someone collecting your bike".

It is only trippy I received complaints about, but thankyou for the input ! :thumb2

Maybe time to close this thread :nenau as it is now becoming an embarrassment ( more in keeping with the beakchat and bollix section for handbag one-up-manships etc ) in this noble section and is off on a complete tangent from the original posters topic.

PLEASE ( asking nicely ) may we keep to the original topic or start a new rant in the appropriate section. :thumb2

Why didn't you give the same advice to the other complainants?

I am genuinely confused as to why some people on here can use foul and abusive language, whilst the same language used by others when responding gets censored out.

You enter a contract when you park in an airport carpark.... they have right to remove.... Wouldn't be there for this long in any of the London airports...

There's a kawasaki 550 been parked unmoved at luton for years :D

So tell us please: Why, if you know and accept all these answers and possibilities, do you continue on your stolid little path? Making it plain that either you just can't help yourself or you are just one of those people who won't shut up even if everyone aggreed with your point of view or untill everyone has you on their ignor list. :nenau

Val.

Trippy can't help it- it's a pavlovian response mechanism. :D

Perhaps the engine or gearbox is fecked which makes the crock of shite worth less than the cost of the parking.

So, for that reason, i'm out.

Pavlovian

Spot on Steppers

Its boringly predictable what will ring that bell :blast

So who 'in authority' did you have in mind?

Mike

Im with you on that. I called Park Lane BMW Wankers , and it was modded out. other people have used the wanker word on here and I still see it, along with C*nt tw*t and various words much much ruder than I EVER used. So why hasnt that been censored. If you edit some post for inclusion of certain words, you should do the same for ALL posts. How about a level playing field huh or is that too much to ask

By the way Park Lane BMW ARE still WANKERS and dont have the bottle to contact me direct even though Paul has given them my number.

I wait with bated breath for the email thats says (yet again) I have modified your post (because they are a big business and are thereatening me, but on the other hand Paul did say he didnt like being threatened by big businesses, especially when they are rude uncoperative and completely fucking ignorant, included that so that balance has been restored and I cant be accused of being "selective" with my opinion/view.

So come on then, where is my coat????:hide:hide:hide:hide
